Tabme ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("you" or "your"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and store your personal information when you use our mobile application ("App") and the associated websites ("join.tabme.app", "tabme.app").

Sign up: When you sign up for Tabme, we collect your full name and email address. We send a verification email to confirm your email ownership.
Optional information: You may choose to add your phone number and a link to your Revolut account to your profile.

Non-personal information:

Device information: We collect device information such as device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Usage data: We collect information about your use of the App, such as how you interact with features and functionalities.
Receipt data: When you scan a receipt, the App analyzes the image using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology provided by Gemini. We do not store the actual image of the receipt.
Lobby information: Within a lobby, your full name is visible to other users participating in the tab split. Optional information like phone number and Revolut link are only displayed if you choose to add them to your profile.
Log data: Within a lobby, your full name is visible to other users participating in the tab split. Optional information like phone number and Revolut link are only displayed if you choose to add them to your profile.

3. Use of information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide and improve the App: We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve the App.
To facilitate tab splitting: We use your information to allow users to split tabs within a lobby.
To send verification emails: We send verification emails to confirm your email address upon signup.
To personalize your experience: We may use your information to personalize your experience with the App, such as by remembering your preferences.
To deliver targeted advertising: We may use your information to deliver targeted advertising to you through AdMob.
For analytics and research: We may use your information for analytics and research purposes to improve the App.

We may share your information with third-party service providers who help us operate and improve the App. These service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.
We may also share your information if we are required to do so by law or in response to a legal process.

We store your information on secure servers provided by Firebase. We use a combination of technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
